Welcome to my personal website! Here you will find almost all information pertaining to me; accomplishments, achievements, favourites and uploads. You can also find information about my thoughts on current events, as well as some documents and tips written by me. The website itself is mainly for my friends and family to keep track of what I've been up to. If you notice something wrong, such as incorrect spelling or grammar please drop me a line! Also, feel free to send me suggestions about how to improve the website, such as colour schemes and interface.

Another database update today, this time to the quotes. I spent the longest time trying to work out why the database was complaining about my syntax, before finally coming to the realisation that both 'character' and 'show' are reserved MYSQL keywords... and I had used them as column names. Dope! This is now fixed up, along with a fix to how the database connections are actually closed. The updated quotes page will be coming soon -- first I have to manuallyt transfer over all the existing data.

Finally, the key update from my recent database changes is set in place: the news articles. Switching over to a database means that:
- Pagination of news articles becomes much easier -- it will be coming soon!
- I can choose to display news articles based on number of articles, rather than number of days
- The news articles are stored in a much more secure format
- The news articles are stored in a much tidier format
I've also updated my favourite songs to utilise the new database. I discovered a weird quick in iTunes pertaining to this, meaning I have to resort to a less desirable method of calculating change, however it is still accurate. Note that the top 40 list itself is still quite old, despite stating it has been updated today. That is a byproduct of me changing the way in which the list recognises when it was last updated. The update time will now show when the actual list was updated, rather than just the content on that page! I also fixed up some incorrect synchronisation between my production site and live site.
